My name is Sergey. I started continuous shibari practice in summer 2015 with my wife,
learning from Markus aka Ibinuphis in Switzerland.
My wife is my adorable life partner and also my best rope partner since that time. And Markus is still my highly appreciated teacher.
In 2018 I had a chance to meet for the first time the Tokyo kinbaku grandmaster
Osada Steve
who was visiting Switzerland during his European trip.
I was totally excited about his way of making a non-verbal dialog with the partner in a rope session.
Then luckily at the beginning of 2019 I began my way as an
Osada-ryu
student at the freshly baptized Osada-ryu Swiss dojo Secret56.
Osada-ryu means the school of Osada — its many-sided emotional approach to shibari influences me the most.
I'm always open to enrich my knowledge from various sources though!
I take the opportunity to learn from other rope masters and keep studying constantly.
In 2021 my rope studio in Bern went live.
It's the place where I continue the practice and give shibari tuition.
In autumn 2024 I also launched a new regular social & educational shibari event in Biel/Bienne called
House of Flying Ropes.
And enjoy the pictures below! The selection comes from
